In continuous operation from 1837 to the 1950's, Dunham-Parry Mill functioned as one of the major merchant feed and flour mills in Hunterdon County catering to most of the farms in the surrounding region. The Dunham-Pary Mill and the McKinney's Mill, known today as the Red Mill Museum on the opposite side of the Raritan River, were crucial to the history and development of Clinton in the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century.

The Hunterdon Art Museum showcases works by internationally recognized and emerging contemporary artists. In addition to changing exhibitions of contemporary art, craft and design, the museum offers an award-winning summer art camp program and hundreds of art classes and workshops each year for adults, teens, kids, and individuals with special needs.
