The Durand-Hedden House and Garden is a historic house museum owned by Maplewood Township and managed by the Durand-Hedden House & Garden Association, a group of citizen trustees who are responsible for preserving, restoring, and interpreting the historic house, grounds, and collections. The museum provides diverse educational exhibits and programs that foster the public’s knowledge and appreciation of the heritage and development of the Maplewood area and surrounding towns, from the time of its original settlement in the late seventeenth century to the present.
