Journey Through Jersey is excited to introduce our latest social media intern! 

The New Jersey Historic Trust launched Journey Through Jersey in 2017 to promote heritage tourism in New Jersey and to support and improve quality visitor experiences at the state’s many and diverse historic sites. Our new social media intern, with an interest in history, heritage tourism, and preservation, will help to maximize Journey Through Jersey's reach.

Christina Ruth is a graduate of Montclair State University with a degree in History and Classical Studies, set to begin her Masters in Museum Professions/Public History at Seton Hall University this autumn. Christina’s undergraduate research analyses how the public interacts with and conceptualizes United States history via historic sites, monuments, memorials, and museums. Christina is an avid hiker, traveler, and writer, and is elated to be given the opportunity to share educational content about New Jersey’s rich history. Come join Christina as she embarks on an adventure to navigate the state’s history, encouraging all Americans to #journeythroughjersey.
